Party time!! Always a blast and party at about every site. Can usually score some good psychedelics every weekend. Bring as much beer as you can afford and plan to puke all night!!! WooooHooo!!!!
My husband and I brought our daughter and her friend here for her 7th birthday. We rented cabin BV3. Our 13 year old son came also and brought his bike and loved riding around and talking to people. We had family and friends come up on Saturday and held a birthday party for our daughter. The only complaint we had the whole weekend was that the mini golf course had been flooded in the weeks prior to our stay and although it want flooded the greens on many of the holes were really muddy and the holes themselves were so muddy our balls were covered with mud when we took our balls out. I told the employees and they were very apologetic I want mad but just thought they should warn visitors before they start playing because we only played 6 or 7 holes. All in all it was great weekend and we will definitely be back!!
Do not camp here if you are looking for a quiet get away!!!! Too many loud kids. And 31 trains passed by in one night!!! Mosquitoes were horrible and 40$ for a tent site is ridiculous!! Staff lady at the desk was nice. This was the only good thing...
I don't understand the 4 star rating for this campground. I'm not a demanding person but was not happy here at all. First, the space was described as pull through but the only way to get the 35' trailer in was to back it as the space backed up to woods. That was difficult but doable. Would have likely been impossible if the campground was full. the most maddening thing is that there was a single water pipe coming up between ours and the adjacent campsite with a tee splitting it so each trailer could hook up. I initially didn't think about this being a bad thing until the next morning when we were taking showers. Every time the other trailer was using water, ours would decrease to a trickle. That was not enough flow to keep the "on demand" hot water heater going in our trailer so the shower water would be warm one minute, then go to an absolutely ice cold trickle. Not fun. There was no 50 amp service, only 30 amp. They charge $8.00 for each child to use the playground equipment, etc. I found it had to like this place very much!
Fun campground for the whole family!! Its near the Wisconsin and Mississippi river, so if you enjoy fishing or boating, this is a great location. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you have a good time. There are a lot of events for kids, as well as a few playgrounds scattered throughout. You can cool down in the pool or relax with a game of mini golf. If you are looking for a fun place to take the family, this is a great destination!
